Bobbi founded Women Media Networks and has a Director seat on the Board of Women Media Networks. She also currently holds a Non-Executive Independent Director seat on the Board of The Red Flag Group.
At work, Bobbi is currently the Head of Legal & Business Affairs for The Walt Disney Company (Asia Pacific) Ltd. She is responsible for all legal matters across all lines of business including consumer products, licensing, publishing, internet, live stage shows, DVD, motion pictures, production and content distribution across 16 major markets including Australia, NZ, Korea and Southeast Asia markets.
She previously worked for News Corporation Ltd at their leading Pay TV provider in Australia, FOXTEL and subsequently joined STAR TV.
Bobbi's experience extends to selling, acquiring and setting up companies (including Internet companies, online gaming studios, TV channels, Pay TV operators and Free to Air stations). Her business objectives are executed in accordance with the highest standards of corporate governance.
Among others, she has worked in China, India and Korea as well as 26 other countries from the Middle East and Russia to Australia and New Zealand.
Bobbi has a combined Bachelor of Economics/Laws degree from the University of New England and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, Australia. She is currently a Solicitor and Barrister to the Supreme Court of NSW Australia and a member of the Australian Law Society. She is currently based in Hong Kong.

Janine is the Editorial Director of ContentAsia, an Asia-based information resource focused on the content industry and everything that goes into it. This includes creation, funding, financing, licensing, distribution, design and branding and technology. ContentAsia's range of products includes electronic, print and online services.
Janine has covered the Asian television and media business for the past 22 years and before that, the Southern African television industry. Among other international publications, she has worked for The Hollywood Reporter (US), the South China Morning Post, Television & Entertainment Times (Hong Kong), Cable & Satellite Asia, Television Business International (UK) and Electronic Media (US).

Mariko Sanchanta leads the media practice for Burson-Marsteller in Asia. In her role, she is responsible for advising clients across Asia on all aspects of media strategy, including digital and social media strategy, crisis communications and branding.
Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller, Mariko was the Senior Editor for Asia for The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires. In this role, she oversaw a team of Asia editors, coordinated and drove the WSJ's coverage across the region, with a principal focus on corporate news. Mariko was previously Deputy Bureau Chief in Tokyo for The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires.
She joined The Wall Street Journal in Japan in October 2009 following a decade-long career with the Financial Times, most recently in London as European editor for corporate news. Prior to her London assignment, Mariko was a Tokyo-based foreign correspondent. She began her career as a reporter for FT.com in New York.
Mariko is a native English speaker and she is also fluent in Japanese.
Director of Events, Hong Kong Chapter
Sheli is an experienced creative talent, focused on conceptual and targeted design, branding and marketing solutions that bring results. She started her career as an Art Director for numerous magazines such as WINDS, Japan Airlines’ in-flight magazine. She arrived in Hong Kong in early 1996 as a pioneering co-founder of a web development company.
Sheli was Art Director for Star TV for a few years before using her knowledge of user experience as the Creative Director of two web and intranet development companies during the dot com craze. She has since grown organically into creative, marketing and strategic brand management roles.
Working as an in-house Creative Director and GM of marketing for consumer electronics companies in China, among other things, she managed large-scale events and tradeshow presences in the US, Europe and Asia. As a regional Brand Manager for Leighton Asia she did more of the same, as well as overseeing teams in charge of corporate identity and brand strategy throughout Asia.
She has an MBA, with a specialty in marketing and consumerism. Her company, Brand Catalyst Ltd, supports NGOs associated with marine conservation and environmental issues.

With experience in marketing, branding and the media industry, Vickie Chan is a copywriter and journalist with an interest in social media platforms and how social media changes our society and expectations in the current age.
Vickie directs her own company Chantown Creative, providing creative services including copywriting, PR, creative direction and consultation services. She also contributes to SCMP, Gafencu, Peak Magazine and other publications.
